Cost Anaylst - New Product Development

Escape Recruitment is working with an established manufacturing business to recruit a Cost Analyst - New Product Development.This is a varied role combining material cost analysis, reporting and New Product Development, working closely with Engineering, Procurement and Commercial teams.You will be responsible for:Analysing BOMs, material costs and complex datasetsIdentifying cost movements, trends, risks and opportunitiesProducing clear cost reports and insight for senior managementSupporting the costing of new products and customer requirementsWorking with Engineering and Procurement to understand component and supplier costsEnsuring material costs are accurate and aligned with targetsAbout YouWe are looking for someone with experience in manufacturing, engineering, procurement, product costing or commercial analysis, with strong analytical skills and excellent Excel capability.You will need to be comfortable working with large datasets, ERP systems and complex information, with the ability to turn data into clear commercial insight.Experience of BOMs, NPD, material costing or supplier pricing would be highly relevant and experience with BI tools such as Qlik would be advantageous.You will be analytical, commercially minded, resilient and confident working with stakeholders across the business.If you are looking for a role that combines data, costing and New Product Development within a busy manufacturing environment, then please send your CV today. ..... full job details .....
