      <description>Location: Falkirk | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Escape Recruitment is working with an established manufacturing business to recruit a Cost Analyst - New Product Development.  This is a varied role combining material cost analysis, reporting and New Product Development, working closely with Engineering, Procurement and Commercial teams.   You will be responsible for:    Analysing BOMs, material costs and complex datasets  Identifying cost movements, trends, risks and opportunities  Producing clear cost reports and insight for senior management  Supporting the costing of new products and customer requirements  Working with Engineering and Procurement to understand component and supplier costs  Ensuring material costs are accurate and aligned with targets    About You   We are looking for someone with experience in manufacturing, engineering, procurement, product costing or commercial analysis, with strong analytical skills and excellent Excel capability.  You will need to be comfortable working with large datasets, ERP systems and complex information, with the ability to turn data into clear commercial insight.
