Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a commercially minded Cost Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional looking to play a key role in driving cost efficiency, supporting decision-making, and influencing operational performance within a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, analyse, and report on product and operational costs across the businessPrepare accurate cost models, standard costing, and variance analysisWork closely with production and operations teams to improve cost control and efficiencySupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processesIdentify cost-saving opportunities and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholdersMaintain and improve costing systems and processesSupport month-end reporting, including inventory valuations and reconciliationsAbout YouQualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (CIMA/ACCA/ACA desirable)Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is essentialStrong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory managementConfident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance ..... full job details .....
