      <description>Location: Yorkshire | Salary: 50000.00-50000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | An opportunity has arisen for a Cost Accountant to join the finance team of an established manufacturing business. This is a role with responsibility for analysing and controlling manufacturing costs, standard costing, inventory and variance analysis, while working closely with production, procurement and engineering teams.  This roles offer 3 days WFH.  The role would suit a qualified or part-qualified accountant, or an experienced QBE Cost Accountant, with strong manufacturing experience.  Key responsibilities include: Analyse production costs and provide detailed reporting and variance analysis.Manage and maintain standard costing, including direct materials, labour and manufacturing overheads.Calculate, establish and annually update standard costs within D365.Monitor manufacturing expenditure against budgets and identify opportunities for improved cost control.Work with operations, engineering and procurement to review and update bills of materials and production cost drivers.Prepare cost statements, financial forecasts and management information.Support month-end and year-end processes, including budgeting and standard costing.Reconcile monthly inventory balances and monitor s...</description>
