Corporate Tax Solicitor International Law Firm Birmingham 2+ PQE - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Tax Solicitor to join the Birmingham office of a leading international law firm. Working as part of a highly regarded national tax practice, you will advise on a broad range of complex and high-value transactions for an impressive client base spanning multinational corporations, private equity houses, financial institutions and owner-managed businesses. THE ROLE:• Advising on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, private equity transactions and joint ventures.• Providing strategic tax advice to UK and international clients across a wide range of sectors.• Working closely with colleagues in the Corporate, Banking, Real Estate and Employment teams on multidisciplinary matters.• Supporting clients on employee incentives, share schemes, VAT and stamp taxes, as well as wider corporate tax issues.• Building strong client relationships and playing an active role in business development initiatives.THE CANDIDATE:• Applications are welcomed from Corporate Tax Solicitors with at least 2 years'' PQE gained at a recognised regional, national or international firm.• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax with experience of advising on transactional matters.• Commercially aware with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.• A proactive approach with the ability to manage your own workload while contributing ..... full job details .....
