About the Role

A Corporate Tax Solicitor with at least three years’ post-qualification experience is sought for the Birmingham office of a top international law firm. This full-time role offers an excellent salary and benefits package. You will join a respected tax team, advising on high-value transactions for UK and global clients. Day-to-day work involves handling tax elements of mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and private equity deals. Collaboration with corporate, real estate, and banking teams is central to this position. Supporting international tax matters and group reorganisations will also form part of your responsibilities. Strong technical skills and a collaborative approach are essential.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Tax Solicitor to join the Birmingham office of a leading international law firm with an outstanding reputation for advising on complex, high-value transactions. This is a chance to become part of a collaborative and highly regarded tax team acting for an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients.
Working closely with corporate, private equity, real estate and banking teams, you will advise on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, private equity investments and financing transactions. You will also have the opportunity to support on international tax matters, group reorganisations and wider strategic tax planning projects.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' PQE gained within a recognised corporate tax team and will have experience of advising on transactional tax matters. You will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, be commercially aware and possess excellent technical and communication skills. Experience gained within a national, international or highly regarded regional practice will be considered.
