Corporate Tax Manager

A Corporate Tax Manager is needed to provide tax advice across a wide variety of sectors and taxes. Training and support will be provided to the right individual to further develop existing tax knowledge. Description Liaising and corresponding with HMRC in respect of clearance applications, enquiries etcDrafting reports and letters of advice for a number of tax advisory issuesPreparing calculations to support adviceLiaising with clients and attending meetings with other team membersTraining and reviewing the work of more junior members of staffProviding support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory GroupAdvice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemesAdvising owner managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planningPreparation of research and development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returnsAdvising individuals regarding IHT planning and CGT mitigation Profile A successful Corporate Tax Manager should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant tax/accountancy qualificationKnowledge of tax software and databasesStrong analytical skills with detail-orientationStrong communication and interpersonal skills Job Offer Competitive salary Discretionary bonus25 days holiday ..... full job details .....
