Salary: £56,000 - £60,000 per annum - excellent benefits including Civil Service pension
Tenure: Permanent

About the PPFThe Pension Protection Fund''s main function is to provide compensation to members of eligible defined benefit pension schemes, when there is a qualifying insolvency event in relation to the employer, and where there are insufficient assets in the pension scheme to cover the Pension Protection Fund level of compensation.
The PPF is the size of a top 5 pension scheme in the UK, managing over £30billion AUM for almost 300,000 members, with an exceptional team of over 450 people. Role purposeIn this newly created standalone role we are looking for a Corporate Sustainability Lead to develop and lead the PPF Corporate Sustainability Plan, ensuring sustainability goals are aligned with our core business operations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate working groups and build relationships with all teams involved with the corporate sustainability strategy.
Agree quantitative environmental, supply chain and other sustainability metrics to measure progress.
Translate insights into developed environmental reduction plans.
Improve the PPF''s technical understanding of the latest corporate sustainability reporting standards to ensure the PPF meets applicable reporting requirements.
Candidate profile / Qualifications
Experience driving sustainability initiatives across an organisation, preferably within financial services or pensions.
Understanding of reporting requirements and general frameworks and best practices for delivery.
Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to non-technical and technical audiences.
Ability to obtain buy-in from the business and role model sustainability practices across the employee population.
