Join us and be part of a vibrant company that embraces diverse perspectives and is committed to doing well by doing good.The Corporate Strategy Director will contribute to Finastra’s Corporate Strategy mandate by supporting planning and execution of major strategic initiatives and activities. The candidate will work with senior management, functional groups, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and external advisors and consultants. Strategic initiatives span the organization and require coordination across business units and functions to ensure clear scope and outcomes. The role also provides targeted support for corporate development activities, including assessment of strategic synergies and initial due diligence, and some programmatic support for Finastra’s ESG programme.The successful candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who can work in an agile, fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. The role reports to the SVP of Strategy, ESG and Chief of Staff.Key Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of the corporate-level strategic plan and vision in close collaboration with the CEO and SVP of Strategy, ESG, and Chief of StaffProvide analytical and research support for corporate-level and Business Unit strategic initiatives, including:Assessment of industry trends and market developmentsCompetitor research and analysisFinancial modelling and business case analysisOther ad-hoc research or analysis as requiredCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic projects, including data gathering, input from stakeholders, and presenting findings and recommendationsDevelop and maintain relationships with key senior stakeholders, including Finastra’s ELTProvide program management support for key strategic initiatives (including Finastra’s ESG programme), such as:Creating and managing timelines across multiple projectsIdentifying and resolving issues, risks, and barriersCommunicating project status to senior stakeholdersProviding delivery support for elements of initiatives on a limited, ad-hoc basisCultivate knowledge of Finastra product portfolio and servicesDevelop understanding of the FinTech industry, relevant companies, technologies, and new marketsProvide bespoke support for CEO-level projects and discussions with the Board and external stakeholdersSkills and Experience
5 years of experience, including 2–3 years in a top-tier consulting firmExperience in software and/or financial servicesAbility to think strategically, work with complex data, and present findings and recommendations clearlyExperience with sustainability/ESG topics is preferredExcellent analytical and creative problem-solving skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levelsBenefits
