Corporate Partnerships Manager
Purpose of the role The Literacy Pirates is an educational charity working across the UK to develop the literacy, confidence and perseverance of children who are falling behind in school and have fewer opportunities in their personal lives. We offer in-person and online literacy programmes that support children to meet age-related expectations in reading and writing, succeed in school, and thrive beyond the classroom. Literacy Pirates is at an incredibly exciting point in its 15-year journey, as we embark on year two of our five-year national expansion plan, with a target to quadruple the number of young people we support over the next four years and double our fundraised income. About the Fundraising and Communications Department The Corporate Partnerships Manager reports to the Head of Development and is part of the broader fundraising and communications team along with the Trusts and Foundation Manager and Communications Manager. Corporate partnerships revenue accounts for 40% of our fundraised income and is a key strategic target for growth. The Corporate Partnerships Manager role is therefore critical to achieving our national expansion ambitions. This role is office-based in London, with the option to work from remotely two days a week. Key Purpose To manage, renew and deepen existing corporate partnerships.
