This is a hands-on technical finance position and would suit a fully qualified accountant with strong recent local authority experience, particularly within a District or Borough Council. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a broad range of corporate finance activities and will be expected to get involved in the detail rather than simply manage the function. Initially, the successful candidate will be required to work on site in Warwickshire for approximately four days per week for the first couple of weeks, allowing them to understand the current position and meet key stakeholders.
