About the Role
As a Corporate Commercial Solicitor in Bristol, you will advise a varied portfolio of business clients on their everyday legal needs and strategic projects. With a focus on practical, growth-oriented counsel, your caseload will span commercial contracts, IT and e-commerce arrangements, joint ventures, intellectual property, and data protection. This full-time position offers a salary between £65,000 and £85,000, dependent on experience, and suits a lawyer with over four years of PQE. You will take ownership of matters from inception to completion, building lasting client relationships and delivering clear, commercially astute guidance. THE ROLE:
• You will work with a diverse range of business clients, handling a broad mix of commercial matters and playing an important role in helping clients navigate their day-to-day legal requirements and longer-term projects.
• You will be responsible for commercial contracts and agreements, terms and conditions, Technology, IT and e-commerce arrangements, Joint ventures and collaborative projects, Intellectual property and brand-related matters and Data protection
• You will have the opportunity to take ownership of matters while also benefiting from the experience and support of senior colleagues on more complex work.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Corporate Commercial Solicitors with a minimum of 4 Years PQE.
• You will be comfortable dealing directly with clients, understanding their wider business objectives and translating legal advice into practical solutions.
• You will also be someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to contribute to the continued growth of the department.
• Strong experience across a range of commercial matters
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills
• A practical and commercially minded approach to legal advice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An interest in developing your own client network and contributing to business development
