Joining the Asset Management Delivery team within Finance and Corporate Resources, you will lead high-profile capital projects across the borough''s diverse estate.Role DetailsPosition: Corporate Capital Project ManagerService: Asset Management Delivery (Strategic Property Services)Reports To: Head of Corporate Projects and Project DeliveryAbout the Role As Corporate Capital Project Manager, you will take direct accountability for delivering individual projects within the Council''s Corporate Capital Programme from inception to completion. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants to ensure schemes are completed on time, within budget, and to exact specifications. In addition to commercial oversight, you will play a key role in driving sustainability across the Council''s estate and reducing its carbon footprint.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Governance and Delivery: Manage capital projects end-to-end, overseeing procurement, risk management, commercial negotiations, and contract sign-offs.Financial and Contract Management: Oversee project budgets, track financial commitments, and manage contractual variations, delays, and payment processes.Team and Stakeholder Leadership: Direct multi-disciplinary delivery teams and external consultants.
