Corporate Accountant - Private Equity/VC (Contract) London £375-£425 per day via Umbrella 3-6 months Hybrid working - 4 days per week in the office A successful Venture Capital firm is looking for a qualified Corporate Accountant to join its finance team on an initial 3-6 month contract. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility for the corporate accounting and financial reporting across a multi-entity investment business. You will also manage one member of the finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include: Production and review of consolidated management accounts and financial reporting Budgeting, forecasting and management information Coordination of statutory accounts and year-end audit Oversight of tax, regulatory reporting and other compliance requirements Cash management, treasury and foreign currency exposure Review of payroll, expenses, purchase ledger and intercompany accounting Supporting the CFO with wider finance and business projects The remit covers a genuinely broad mix of management reporting, statutory accounts, tax, budgeting, team oversight and treasury. The Candidate You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with experience working in a similar role within a smaller alternative investment firm.
