Coopman Search are excited to be partnering with a mid market PE firm in London as they grow their financial control team.

The Day To Day Role Will Involve

Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and board reports for the groupPreparing annual statutory accounts for the groupPreparing quarterly FCA returns and any other regulatory reportsPreparing quarterly reports to external investorsAnalysing and applying quarterly valuations to the investments within the management entitiesPreparation of month-end journals and reconciliations (income, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, revaluations etc.)Preparing intercompany reconciliationsCash management, including monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, preparing cashbooks, entering cash journals, FX forwards monitoring and EMIR returnsPreparing the group’s VAT returns, including partial exemption special method and capital goods scheme calculationsPreparing recharges to and reconciling transactions with fund entities and portfolio companiesContinually looking for improvements to procedures and processes

Experience Required

Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMAEducated to degree levelat least 1 year of management accounting or financial accounting experienceIdeally experience within a regulated entityCollaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships
