Core Subjects Tutor

The OpportunityProspero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support and individuals with SEND.We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Core Subjects Tutor to provide 1:1 support to students who are not currently accessing mainstream education.This role would suit someone with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping young learners reach their potential.Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one tutoring in English, Maths and/or Science.Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles.Support with homework, exam preparation, and building study confidence.Maintain accurate records of progress and feedback for parents/guardians.Position Details:Location: Sefton areaPosition: Core Subjects TutorType of work: SupplyHours: Flexible working hours availableStart date: ASAPDuration: OngoingHourly rate: Minimum rate of 25.00p/hExperience, Training and Qualifications:QTS or equivalentUp to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearUK classroom teaching experienceBe creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxSEN experience To be eligible for this role, you must:Hold the right to work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new ..... full job details .....
