1:1 Core Subjects Tutor - Wrexham Location: Wrexham Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Prospero Teaching are seeking a versatile 1:1 Tutor to provide tailored educational support to a learner in Wrexham. The role would suit a teacher or experienced tutor who is confident delivering support across core subjects and enjoys adapting lessons to meet the needs of individual learners. About the Role Provide personalised 1:1 tuition Support development across core academic subjects Plan and deliver engaging lessons Identify learning gaps and areas for development Adapt teaching strategies and resources Encourage positive attitudes towards learning Record and communicate learner progress Requirements Previous experience tutoring or teaching children/young people Strong knowledge of core curriculum subjects Experience delivering 1:1 support is beneficial Excellent classroom management and communication skills Flexible approach to planning and delivery QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience desirable Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to process a new application Right to Work in the UK Two professional references relating to working with children Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business and education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy ..... full job details .....
