Core Python Developer - Leading Global Crypto Market Maker | HFT | Crypto | EquityAre you curious about high-frequency trading, cryptocurrencies/blockchain, and decentralized finance? Do you find developing trading algorithms and applications exciting? Would you like to work and be mentored by experienced traders and developers in this space? This role might be perfect for you.
All work is greenfield, focusing on building an automated trade reconciliation system. You will work closely with the Lead Core Developer, CTO, Middle Office Lead, and traders. Personal Profile Required
Previous financial/trading experience
Exceptional Python skills; you will be tested extensively
Experience with Python 3 (academic or personal projects) and secondary C++ experience is an advantage
Experience with SQL-based databases
Familiarity with Linux desktops and servers
Excellent programming skills and fundamental understanding
A 2:1 or above from a top-tier university in Computer Science
A genuine love for coding is essential; this role requires passion and dedication beyond a standard 9-to-5.
