Trust Housing Association has an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join their team based at Dunfermline on a part-time, permanent basis with a competitive salary of £13 per hour. In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as our Cook, we will offer you: 28 hours average per week on a 2-week rolling rota working every second weekend, from 9:00am to 6:00pm (with 1 hour unpaid break) Example rota: - Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday - Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour Generous holiday entitlement Ongoing paid training and personal development Paid candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland Opportunity for additional hours covering for holidays, training and other staff absences. What we re looking for in our Cook: We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu. As a Cook your duties would involve menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients and working alongside the catering assistant. Cook Key Responsibilities: You must be able in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage.
