      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | We are seeking a reliable and experienced Nursery Cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for children under five in a nursery setting. This role is Monday- Friday, 9:00am- 4:00pm based in Leyton.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare healthy snacks, lunches and afternoon tea in line with nursery menus.Cater for individual dietary requirements, allergies, intolerances and cultural preferences.Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness within the kitchen.Complete daily food temperature checks and hygiene records.Manage food stock, rotation and weekly online ordering.Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained and reported if faulty.Support the wider nursery team and contribute to a positive environment.RequirementsFood Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (essential).Enhanced DBS on the Update ServicePrevious cooking experience, ideally within a nursery, school or childcare setting.Good understanding of food allergies, dietary requirements and food safety procedures.Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and safe kitchen practices.Applications being reviewed now.</description>
