CookLocation: Preston Road Village Centre, Hull, HU9 3QBFixed Term Contract: Until 31st March 2026Hours of Work: 3:30pm - 7:30pm; Monday to ThursdaySalary: £12.30 per hourCook Job Duties:Employs food safety best practices to ensure agreed hygiene standards are maintained at all timesActs with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfacesWorks with our client on a range of menus to ensure that meals cooked are nutritious and well balancedDetermines qualities of ingredients needed to order and maintain appropriate stock levels at all timesDevelop a rolling programme of menusUndertake administration work in relation to the chilled foods

Skills and Qualifications:Appropriate Food Hygiene CertificateHave knowledge of a commercial kitchen and at least one years'' experience working in a similar environmentSelf-driven and highly motivatedGood time managementHave a positive and friendly natureBe organised and systematic in your approachShow great communication skillsBe able to work quickly but effectivelyBe willing to work as part of a teamAble to work to a flexible schedule
