We also recruit for Social Care and Public Sector roles. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cook for a Children Centre setting to work for our client based in Camden. Duties and Responsibilities of a Cook: Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for children in line with dietary requirements and menu plans. Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen control procedures at all times (including Natasha s Law compliance where applicable). Cater for individual dietary needs, including allergies, cultural requirements, and special dietary plans. Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of all surfaces, equipment, and utensils. Ensure correct food storage, rotation, and temperature control in line with food safety regulations. Work closely with staff to ensure meals are served on time and meet the needs of children s routines. Monitor portion sizes and ensure age-appropriate servings are provided. Manage kitchen stock, place orders, and report shortages or issues to management. Complete daily records including food temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and allergen documentation.
