You will be responsible for planning, preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for young people and staff, ensuring all dietary requirements are met while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in producing home-cooked meals, and understands the importance of creating a positive dining experience within a residential care environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals daily.Plan balanced menus, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.Manage food ordering, stock control and kitchen supplies.Check and receive deliveries.Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and food management procedures.Complete all required kitchen records and documentation.Support the smooth operation of the kitchen and meal service.Undertake kitchen cleaning duties and ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard.
