Job Title: Solicitor or Legal Executive - Conveyancing Department Location: Wallington, Surrey Job Type: Full-Time Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) to join our Conveyancing Department. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property transactions, providing expert legal services and advice. Day-to-day of the role: Handle sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties. Manage re-mortgages and transfers of equity. Deal with new build purchases and shared ownership schemes. Conduct title checks and searches. Draft and review contracts and other legal documents. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process. Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients. Required Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with experience in conveyancing. Proven experience in handling residential and commercial property transactions. Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively. High level of professionalism and integrity. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
