Conveyancing Assistant

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their team.You will be part of a team, working with an experienced residential conveyancing fee earner as part of a busy but friendly team in an established law firm.Role:Completing anti-money laundering and compliance proceduresSpeaking to relevant parties over the telephoneGeneral administration dutiesPreparation of ContractsProcessing CompletionsUsing case management systemRequirement:Have an understanding of the conveyancing process and have previous experience as an assistant or secretaryHave a confident telephone manner and be able to make and receive calls from clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders and estate agentsHave good organisational and administration skillsWill be confident and capable when meeting clients face to face who occasionally drop into the office to collect or deliver paperworkDue to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away.
