Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant Job Description
We are currently seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join our legal team within a boutique firm. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate is expected to work full-time hours.
Job Duties:- Assist in the preparation of legal documents related to property transactions
- Conduct research on property titles and land registry
- Communicate with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders involved in the conveyancing process
- Handle administrative tasks to support the conveyancing team
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and procedures
- Previous experience working in a conveyancing role
- Knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
A relevant legal qualification or equivalent experience
Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a conveyancing role
Knowledge and Skills:- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx)
- Experience using case management software
The role is based in a legal office environment. Standard office hours apply.
