The Role You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion. Key responsibilities will include: • Managing residential property sales and purchases, including freehold, leasehold and new build transactions. • Handling transfers of equity, shared ownership matters and remortgages. • Conducting title checks and reviewing property documentation. • Preparing and reviewing contracts and progressing matters through exchange and completion. • Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process. • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors. • Identifying and managing risks in accordance with firm procedures. • Ensuring matters comply with relevant legislation, SRA requirements and CQS standards. • Maintaining accurate and up to date case records using legal case management systems. • Providing a consistently high level of client care and building strong professional relationships.
