Job Title: Controls EngineerClient: Global engineering/manufacturing companyLocation: PeterleeHourly Rate: £29.27 PAYE or £38.48 UmbrellaDuration: 12 monthsWorking arrangements: Fully site based About the Role:MY client is looking for an experienced Controls Systems Engineer to join the Performance and Control Team at their Peterlee facility.This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing controls systems, ensuring robust performance of production equipment through software support, diagnostics, machine tuning, and validation activities within a fast-paced factory environment.Responsibilities:Deliver controls and software support for manufacturing operationsDiagnose and resolve equipment control system issues to minimise downtimeSupport commissioning, testing, and tuning of production machineryDevelop a clear understanding of production procedures, analyse them, and drive continuous improvementExecute software updates, fault finding, and system optimisationSupport validation and performance verification activitiesKey Skills:Experience in industrial control systems and automationKnowledge of embedded control systemsKnowledge of off-highway trucks or heavy machinery highly desirable If you would like to be considered for this role please don''t hesitate to click apply or call Sam Pierre-Louis on for more information.
