Controls Engineer
The Controls Engineer will be days based, working Monday to Friday, and receive benefits including 25 days holiday plus 9 bank holidays, optional 5 days holiday or 2% bonus and competitive pension scheme. Responsibilities of the Controls Engineer;
- Provide technical support for systems including DeltaV DCS.
- Leading complex fault finding diagnosis and root cause analysis implementing robust, long-term corrective actions to improve reliability and plant availability.
- Lead DCS activities including strategy development.
- Enduring high data integrity, availability and usability, supporting advanced analytics, reporting and process optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
In order to be successful in this position as Controls Engineer it would be beneficial to have an apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Automation, Chemical Engineering or related Engineering discipline. Functional Safety and Safety Instrumented Systems experience would also be positive, though not essential, for example TUV FSEng.
