Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of bespoke low-voltage switchgear, distribution boards, transformers and containerised substations, delivering solutions for industrial, commercial and critical infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Control Systems Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. The Role This is an exciting opportunity to become involved in the full project lifecycle, designing, developing, integrating, testing and commissioning control systems for LV switchgear, power management and energy monitoring applications. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and wider engineering team, you''ll develop practical, reliable control solutions while supporting projects from initial concept through to client handover. Responsibilities Design, develop and commission PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems. Develop software for switchboard control, generator control, ATS schemes, load shedding and energy monitoring applications. Configure PLCs, HMIs, protection relays, metering equipment and communication devices. Produce control philosophies, I/O schedules, network layouts and technical documentation.
