The role will involve working on warehouse automation, conveyor and materials-handling projects, including PLC control, electrical panels, sensors, motors and integration with higher-level software systems.Controls Engineer ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, commission and support industrial automation systems.Work on warehouse automation, conveyor and materials-handling projects.PLC control work plus hands-on electrical/control involvement (panels, sensors, motors, VFDs).Fault-find electrical and PLC-controlled equipment.Carry out testing, commissioning and customer-site support.Support integration of PLC systems with higher-level software systems where required.Controls Engineer RequirementsGood practical experience programming Siemens PLCs, particularly S7-1200 and/or S7-1500.Strong working knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal.Experience with other PLC platforms would be beneficial, such as Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron or Schneider.Experience designing, building, wiring or modifying industrial electrical control panels....
