Following significant new project wins and continued business growth, the company is expanding its Controls Engineering team.You will work on bespoke industrial automation projects across sectors including Automotive, Food and Beverage, Aerospace and Pharmaceutical, taking projects from software design and development through to testing, commissioning and customer handover.Control Systems Engineer The Role: Design and develop PLC software from first principles for bespoke industrial automation systemsProgram primarily Siemens TIA Portal / S7 and/or Rockwell Studio 5000Develop, test and commission safety-related control softwareConfigure and commission VFDs, servo drives, motion systems, fieldbus networks and remote I/OWork with industrial communication protocolsRead and interpret electrical drawings, I/O schedules and functional specificationsCarry out practical electrical and control-system fault finding during build, testing and commissioningProduce and maintain FDS, test documentation, commissioning records and OandM informationSupport legacy systems including Siemens S7 Classic and STL/IL where requiredWork closely with Project Managers, Electrical Design, ..... full job details .....
