Controls Engineer Mitsubishi PLC / Electrical Mirfield, West Yorkshire £55,000 - £62,500 Monday Friday Days Are you an electrically biased Controls Engineer with strong Mitsubishi PLC experience?We''re looking for an experienced Controls Engineer / PLC Engineer / Electrical and Controls Engineer to join a well-established Mirfield-based client on a permanent basis.This is a hands-on engineering role where your electrical knowledge and PLC expertise will be equally important. We''re looking for someone who can confidently fault find, modify existing PLC programmes and develop PLC code from new.The Role You''ll be responsible for keeping automated machinery and control systems operating efficiently, diagnosing faults and supporting new and existing automation projects.Key responsibilities will include: Programming and developing Mitsubishi PLCs PLC fault finding, diagnostics and programme modifications Developing PLC code from new Electrical and controls fault finding on industrial machinery Diagnosing issues across PLCs, sensors, inputs/outputs, drives and control systems Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics Supporting machine installation, commissioning and modifications Working with HMIs, VSDs/inverters and other automation equipment Identifying and implementing improvements to machine reliability and performance Working closely with electrical and mechanical engineering teams Supporting continuous improvement and automation projects What We''re ..... full job details .....
