Controls Design Engineer

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join a global leader in intelligent intralogistics solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement control systems for automated material handling.Develop PLC software, HMI, and SCADA systems, with hands-on experience in Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.Emulate control systems in virtual environments for testing and troubleshooting.Ensure compliance with CE standards and the Machinery Directive.Deliver system commissioning and on-site support, providing end-user training.Collaborate with engineering teams to drive process improvement, quality, and cost optimisation.Qualifications:Bachelor''s or Master''s in Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls) preferred.Hands-on experience with PLC programming, industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet IP).Knowledge of electrical schematics, system integration, and risk assessments.Full UK driving license required (up to 60% travel).Additional Benefits:Company Car or a monthly gross allowance of 461.Eligible for overtime, with manager approval.Hybrid flexibility with a base location in Adderbury.
