Controls and Instrumentation Engineer

Our client, a respected organisation operating in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls and Instrumentation Engineer for a contract position. This role focuses on the maintenance and improvement of process control and safety systems critical for safe and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the maintenance and improvement of process control systems and safety systems.Review and familiarise with Company Management of Change (MOC) procedural documents to initiate and close out projects.Develop and present project plans to the Asset Manager, specifying tasks, resources, and budget requirements.Execute approved project tasks, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, legislation, and company policies.Update Company drawings and documents to ''As Built Master'' status.Identify plant improvement areas and develop project work scopes and schedules.Design and implement new process control systems and safety systems for capital projects.Ensure compliance with international standards for process control and safety systems.Produce key deliverables including SIL verification documents and Safety Requirement Specifications.Test and commission SIS and Control Systems upgrades.Provide technical support for operations, including diagnostics, root cause analysis, and remedial action implementation.Manage the maintenance of site-wide process control and safety systems, including communications and remote support.Job ..... full job details .....
