Controls and Commissioning Engineer - PLC / FAT / Commissioning 40 per hour Outside IR35 ContractLocations: Nottingham or Wymondham (Norwich)Working Arrangement: Hybrid - minimum 3 days per week in the officeTravel: UK, Turkey and Vietnam as requiredWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Controls and Commissioning Engineer to support a major engineering organisation across a range of UK and international projects.The role will focus on PLC/HMI software, FAT, Pre-FAT, iFAT, commissioning and controls troubleshooting, working closely with engineering, project, supplier and customer teams to ensure systems are fully tested and ready for project milestones.Key ResponsibilitiesPLC and HMI software testing, troubleshooting and verificationFAT, Pre-FAT, iFAT, SAT and commissioning activitiesCause and Effect testing and verificationI/O checks, loop checks and functional testingControlled software updates and configuration managementTroubleshooting controls and instrumentation issuesSupporting suppliers and customers during testing and commissioningReviewing and updating electrical and control documentationSupporting punch list and software issue resolutionEssential ExperienceStrong hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experienceExperience with Siemens TIA Portal and WinCCFAT and commissioning experienceExperience with instrumentation and control systemsAbility to interpret PandIDs, control schematics and Cause and Effect diagramsExperience working in safe area and/or ..... full job details .....
