Controls and Calibration Engineer

Murray McIntosh are searching for a Senior Controls and Calibration Engineer to start work for a key client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below: Candidates should have a track record of calibrating internal combustion engines and aftertreatment systems. Responsibilities: Calibration of aftertreatment control parametersPlanning and calibration of engine pollutant generation, DPF accumulation, regeneration, burn rate models and validation in test bed/machine environmentsTemperature and pressure models calibration and validation.Calibration of functional diagnostics for NCD and PCD, temperatures/pressures etc.Climatic trips, experience on calibration validation exercises at machine/vehicle level.SCR efficiency monitoring calibrations.Calibration design and validation using simulation tools (Simulink preferred)Calibration database managementWrite development plans and reportsUnderstanding of emissions measurement equipment is ..... full job details .....
