Control Systems Engineer Tamworth - hybrid Up to 60k About the Role We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and commissioning of automated machinery and material handling systems.This is a hands-on role combining office-based design work with on-site commissioning across a wide range of global projects. You''ll play a key part in delivering complete control system solutions from concept through to installation and final sign-off.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop PLC and computer-based control systems for automated machinery and material handling solutionsProgram, configure, and test control systems using industry-standard platformsCommission systems on-site across the UK and internationallySupport installation, testing, and troubleshooting during project deliveryWork closely with electrical design, mechanical, and project teamsEnsure systems meet operational, safety, and customer requirementsProvide technical support during factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) Essential RequirementsMinimum 5+ years'' experience in control systems engineeringStrong background in automation and material handling systemsProven experience with:Siemens TIA PortalAllen-Bradley PLC systemsExperience with Mitsubishi Electric automation software (desirable but beneficial)Solid experience in PLC programming, HMI development, and system integrationHands-on commissioning experience on industrial sitesStrong ..... full job details .....
