SimWest Engineering Recruitment is recruiting a Control Systems Engineer for an established and growing machinery manufacturer, backed by a global organisation. This position offers the opportunity to work on interesting industrial machinery and automation projects, developing control systems from initial design and software development through to testing and commissioning. You don''t need to be an expert in both PLC programming and electrical design. A strong background in either discipline, with some experience in the other and a willingness to develop, is equally welcome. The Role As a Control Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include: PLC Programming: Developing and modifying PLC software using Siemens and Allen-Bradley / Rockwell systems. HMI Development: Designing and programming operator interfaces for automated machinery. Electrical Design: Producing electrical CAD drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams. Control Panel Design: Electrical component selection, panel layouts and associated documentation.
