Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system design and electrical engineering, with proficiency in various software tools. This role is crucial for developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems that enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Duties
- Design and develop control systems for various applications, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Utilise software tools such as Simulink, MATLAB, AutoCAD, and Revit to create detailed system designs and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform soldering tasks as necessary for hardware integration and repairs.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control engineering technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Simulink, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, MATLAB, and Python is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Experience in system design and implementation within an engineering environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in debugging control systems is an advantage.
