Control System Senior Design Engineer - Nuclear To work in the Nuclear Silos design team, leading a team of Control System Design Engineers delivering, supporting others delivering and checking designs/updates to meet functional and business needs. Essential: Security Clearance: SC or the ability to obtain Experience: Control System Lead Design Engineer role on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards Experience of SCADA/PLC control systems and network architectures Willingness to develop early career Control System Design Engineers Able to: Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a range of persons/teams Contribute to the development of programmes and estimates to support project/task planning Prioritise and assign work Understand, review and challenge control system requirements Deliver to challenging targets Report on design progress Contribute to design assurance tactics and reviews Provide design support during Procurement/System Integration Provide design support during Installation Provide design support during Commissioning Desirable: SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate external and SL Engineering Standards Experience in the production of detailed design packages; Drawings, Specifications (CONCISE), Outline Installation Method Statements, CDM design risk ..... full job details .....
