Control Room Manager BESS Location: West Yorkshire Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: Monday Friday, with management on-call rota Driving Licence: Full UK licence required The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Control Room Manager to join a rapidly growing renewable energy business operating a portfolio of large-scale energy infrastructure across the UK. The business operates a 24/7 control room responsible for monitoring asset performance, managing alarms and incidents, and producing critical availability and performance reporting for clients. This is a newly created position where you will take overall ownership of the control room function, including day-to-day operations, team leadership, alarm management, reporting, performance analysis and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in control room management, network operations, energy operations or 24/7 monitoring who is looking to take ownership of a growing function within the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Wakefield control room, including rotas, coverage, procedures and team competence. Lead and manage the Control Room Monitoring and Performance and Monitoring teams. Set and maintain high standards for alarm handling, triage, prioritisation and escalation.
