Control Panel Technician / Supervisor

Do you want to be part of a startup division within an already successful company where you can trusted to lead from the front and not be micromanaged, this company is in need to a hands on control panel technician who is capable of leadership and training.Job Description:Assemble control panels according to electrical and mechanical drawingsLayout panel backplates with componentsWire power and control as per panel schematics providedInstall and wire components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, and terminal blocksOrder equipment and work with suppliers for procuring goods for the workshop.Test control panels for functionality and troubleshoot any issuesFollow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during assembly and installation including pre-check, testing and completion of relevant testing documents.Maintain accurate documentation of panel assembly and wiringWork with and assist the development of the department and apprentices within the department.Ability to travel to sites occasionally for onsite installations.Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:Minimum 3 years'' experience in such previous role - CAD knowledge is advantageousProficiency in assembling control panels and wiring components with the ability to work from and interpret electrical drawingsFamiliarity with logic controllers and surface mount technology, particularly within the BMS sectorAbility to use power tools and hand tools effectivelyAttention to detail and ability to follow ..... full job details .....
