Control and Systems EngineerPirelli UK Tyres Ltd Burton on TrentWe re looking for an enthusiastic Control and Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team in Burton.The successful applicant will work 40 hours per week, from 08 00 Monday to Friday.Salary for this role will be £48,000 - 58,000 per annum, depending upon qualification, skills, background and experience.Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of highly technologically focussed projects and improvement programs consistent with a complex, global, technical leader in the Prestige and Ultra High Performance Tyre industry.This role requires a high degree of technical know-how and a capability to work on a broad range of software and control systems. The Control and Systems Engineer will become the technical specialist on many of these systems so a high degree of autonomy and flexibility is required in terms of problem solving and continual search for improvements to technical efficiency and effectiveness.Candidates will be required to lead projects, taking them from concept to specification to detail design and full realisation within agreed timings and budgets. They will be a member of the broader engineering team and be required to collaborate in projects led by other colleagues or even other functions in both a practical hands-on role or as a consultant.
