Control and Instrumentation Engineer

Role OverviewAn urgent requirement has arisen for an experienced CandI Engineer to support the SVIP project, with a focus on instrumentation and SCADA design. This is a hands-on design role requiring strong technical capability in developing instrument loop diagrams, block cable diagrams, and supporting wider control system design activities. You will work closely with an existing engineering team, contributing to key deliverables within a fast-paced infrastructure environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed instrument loop diagrams in line with project standards.Produce block cable diagrams for electrical and instrumentation systems.SupportSCADA and control system design, including: Input/Output (I/O) schedulesControl philosophiesSystem architecture developmentCollaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration.Ensure all design work complies with relevant industry standards and project specifications.Review and validate technical documentation and drawings.Provide technical support during design reviews and project meetings.Work to tight deadlines to meet urgent project requirements.Required Qualifications and ExperienceDegree or HNC/HND in Control and Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.Proven experience in CandI design within infrastructure, utilities, energy, or similar sectors.Strong experience producing: Instrument loop diagramsCable block diagramsWorking knowledge of SCADA systems and control ..... full job details .....
