Contracts Specialist

Contracts Specialist Our client, a leading independent Oil and Gas operator, are currently seeking a Contracts specialist to join their team in Norwich. The successful candidate will provide procurement and commercial advice to contract users ensuring the company maximises the benefits from the services provided by its suppliers. You will be reporting to the Contracts Team Leader in the Supply Chain Management Department. The ideal candidate will be confident and self-motivated, utilising excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be representing the company and must act with a high level of integrity and a professional manner in interacting with suppliers and third parties. This is initially a 24-month contract, working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Skills and Experience Knowledge of supply chain or contract management process and procedures Qualified to degree level or able to demonstrate experience in a similar related role A business focus and commercial mindset Experience in negotiating commercials and terms Understanding and application of key contract principles Proficient IT User of Microsoft Word/Excel etc Familiarity with SAP or other P2P system A flexible team worker able to work effectively in a dynamic environment alongside different disciplines Delivery driven and able to work with a high degree of self-initiative and integrity Confident and able to interact with Management with ease An effective communicator, both written and oral, to all ..... full job details .....
