ClientOur client is a leading fit-out contractor who have an excellent reputation for delivering on high end luxury projects across several sectors including residential, hospitality, commercial and retail.

They pride themselves on being a people-orientated company and have a great opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

The Ideal Person:

Effective communication skills3+ years previous experience as a contracts manager (preferably in a fit-out setting)Be willing to travelPreparation, negotiation and managing skillsProven success in delivering projects

Responsibilities:

Review Contract details, tender docs and pre-construction information.Review tender programme and create construction programme and Information release schedules.Initiate site mobilisation and oversee site set up is implemented.Hold Pre-start meetings with sub-contractors.Travel to projects weekly.Liaise closely with the project QS and Site manager to ensure cost control.Manage approved sub-contractors to ensure health and safety is upheld and programme requirements are met.Monitor live projects for Quality of work, cost, and programme implications.Carry out regular CM inspections on site visits.Attend project meetings and create regular progress reports.Exercise a Pro-active attitude to ensure client requirements are achieved.Exercise good Contractual knowledge on JCT and DandB ContractsControl and oversee the snag and de-snag of projects using the SnagR system.Control and organise the compiling and issue of all CDM HandS and OandM manuals.Attend project handovers and demonstrations.Hold post contract wash up meetings.
