TSR are working on behalf of a Nottingham based construction business, recruiting for a Contracts Manager/Building Surveyor to focus on minor works/insurance projects. This long-established contractor has built lasting relationships with major insurance companies and provides an effective service at assessment, valuation and hands on work to recondition and refurbishment effected properties.

Requirements of the role will be to potentially visit effected properties, using software provided by the contractor, creating valuations for the required works. The ideal candidate will have experience of surveying properties and assessing damage, including from a social housing background.

• Using Software to create valuations on works required
• Assessing potential work required
• Visiting effected properties
• Customer facing role

The Person

• Experience in Insurance/Minor Works refurbishment schemes
• Good IT Skills
• Very good communication skills
• Problem solving and analytical
