Contracts Manager - Roofing & Cladding

Salary: £55,000-£58,000 + Car Allowance

Location: Office-based In the North West with regular site visits

Travel: Required

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, we are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join our expanding roofing and cladding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Contracts Manager with a strong roofing background to oversee multiple projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of roofing, cladding and maintenance projects across various sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple roofing and cladding contracts simultaneously
• Planning, programming and coordinating project delivery
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Conducting regular site visits and client meetings
• Monitoring project performance, costs and programme milestones
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, programmes and project documentation
• Maintaining strong client relationships throughout project delivery
• Identifying and resolving project risks and operational issues
• Supporting commercial teams with variations and contract administration
• Driving quality standards and ensuring successful project completion

Roofing Experience Required

Candidates must have demonstrable experience managing roofing projects including a range of the following disciplines:

• Green roofs
• Hot melt systems
• Liquid applied roofing
• Planned and reactive roof maintenance
• Gutter lining and maintenance works
• Rooflight replacement projects

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the roofing industry
• Strong knowledge of roofing and cladding systems
• SMSTS Certificate (Essential)
• First Aid at Work Certificate (Essential)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Commercial awareness and budget management experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to travel as required
