Contracts Manager – Roofing and Cladding

Leeds, with regional projects across Yorkshire and the North

Cladproof Roofing and Cladding Ltd is a Leeds-based specialist contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment, maintenance, and small new-build projects across Yorkshire and the North. Known for technical excellence and outstanding service, we work on contracts from £10k–£500k and are growing fast, making this a great time to join our ambitious, collaborative team.

The RoleWe are looking for an experienced

Contracts Manager

to take ownership of multiple roofing and cladding contracts, managing the full lifecycle from client enquiry to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys and interpret technical specifications and drawings

Produce costings, risk assessments, value-engineered proposals and tender documents

Manage contract mobilisation, including scope, budgets, timelines, KPIs and procurement

Prepare CDM documentation, including RAMS, CPP, and ensure necessary permits and warranties

Plan and coordinate resources (labour, plant, materials) across multiple sites

Lead site start-up meetings and enforce compliance with HandS and quality standards

Monitor progress, track variations, and manage project budgets and cash flow

Conduct client meetings, deliver progress reports and manage handovers

Drive continuous improvement through KPI analysis and lessons learned

The Ideal CandidateWe''re seeking a

Contracts Manager

who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments and can manage several small-to-medium roofing contracts simultaneously. About you:

5+ years'' end-to-end contract or project management in industrial roofing/cladding

Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once

Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of estimating and contract law (JCT/NEC)

Technical understanding of roofing systems: composite, twin-skin, single-skin, gutter lining, etc.

SMSTS (or SSSTS with intent to upgrade), CSCS Manager card, First Aid

Confident using MS Project, Excel, and digital site reporting tools

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
